Travel Services Privacy Policy

This notice covers Best of Bedz Travel Services at bestofbedz.com/travelservices, our travel comparison and referral service. It complements our main Privacy Policy; where a matter is specific to Travel Services, this notice applies. Cookies across every Best of Bedz surface are governed by our single Cookie Policy.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Best of Bedz Travel Services is a service of Best of B Online FZ-LLC ("Best of B Online", "we", "us", "our"), a Free Zone Limited Liability Company registered with the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), United Arab Emirates.

Because we serve visitors worldwide, we apply the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as our baseline standard, alongside the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).

2. What we collect

Travel Services is a comparison and referral site: you do not pay us, and we do not collect or store your card details. We collect only:

  • Identity and contact: name and email address you voluntarily give us when you subscribe to our newsletter or contact us.
  • Support messages: what you write to us and our replies.
  • Usage and technical data: browser and device type, IP address, pages viewed and time on page, and referral information, collected automatically.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: as described in our Cookie Policy, including affiliate-tracking cookies (Section 3).

We do not knowingly collect special-category data (health, religion, and similar); please do not include it in messages.

3. Affiliate program and Travelpayouts disclosure

Best of Bedz Travel Services participates in the Travelpayouts affiliate network. When you search or book on our pages, you interact with third-party booking widgets provided through Travelpayouts, including car rentals (via Economybookings.com), airport transfers (via Welcome Pickups), tours and activities (via Klook), and event tickets (via Tiqets).

How it works. We embed these partners' widgets. When you click, search, or book, you may be redirected to the partner's website, and if you make a purchase we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you (the price is the same as booking with the provider directly).

Third-party data collection. When you interact with these widgets, each provider (Economybookings.com, Welcome Pickups, Klook, Tiqets, and Travelpayouts) acts as an independent data controller and may collect your search queries, booking details and browsing behaviour under its own privacy policy. We do not control that processing. Please review their policies before booking:

4. Why we process it, and our legal basis

  • Run and improve the website (usage analytics, troubleshooting): our legitimate interest.
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide support: our legitimate interest, or steps at your request.
  • Send newsletters and offers: only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Measure affiliate referrals and prevent fraud: our legitimate interest and that of our partners.
  • Meet legal obligations and protect our rights: legal obligation and legitimate interest.

We do not make decisions producing legal effects about you by automated means.

5. Cookies, analytics and advertising

Cookies across every Best of Bedz surface are governed by our single Cookie Policy. In short: essential cookies keep the site working; analytics (for example PostHog, Google Analytics) and advertising pixels (Meta, Snapchat, TikTok), where enabled, load only after you consent; and affiliate-tracking cookies set by Travelpayouts and its partners attribute referrals and commissions and may persist 30 days or longer depending on the partner. Where we advertise, we may share hashed identifiers with ad platforms to build or exclude audiences; opt out any time at privacy@bestofbedz.com.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only: with affiliate partners (Travelpayouts and its network) as independent controllers, as described in Section 3; with service providers that host the site, send our email, and provide analytics, under contract; with authorities or advisers where required by law or to protect our rights; and with your consent.

7. International transfers

We operate from the UAE, our infrastructure providers are hosted in the EU, and the affiliate partners you interact with operate in various countries. Where your data is transferred across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards (including EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the equivalent protections required by the UAE PDPL) and, where applicable, adequacy decisions. Data you provide directly to an affiliate partner is transferred under that partner's own safeguards. Request details at privacy@bestofbedz.com.

8. How long we keep it

  • Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe.
  • Support correspondence: up to 3 years.
  • Usage and analytics data: up to 14 months.
  • Records we must keep by law: for the period the law requires.

9. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures to protect your information, and our infrastructure providers hold industry-standard certifications. Because we take no payment, no card data ever touches our servers. No system is perfectly secure; where a breach affects your data and the law requires it, we notify you and the competent regulator within 72 hours where feasible.

10. Your rights

Subject to the law that applies to you, you may: access your data; correct it; request erasure; restrict or object to processing; receive a portable copy; and withdraw consent at any time (for the newsletter). Email privacy@bestofbedz.com and we respond within 30 days, free of charge for reasonable requests. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority, or the UAE Data Office. International visitors: we honour the data-protection rights your own law grants you (for example US state privacy laws or Australia's Privacy Act); make any request to the same address and we apply the strongest protection that fits your case.

11. Minors

The website is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a minor has given us data, contact privacy@bestofbedz.com and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. Material changes are posted here with a new "Last updated" date; please review it periodically.
